Dr. Skidmore directs the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders center at the VA Medical Center. Dr. Skidmore has experience in management of Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor, management of cervical and other limb dystonia (including botulinum toxin injections), and evaluating patients for deep brain stimulation and programming deep brain stimulators. His research interests include finding better ways to manage walking and balance problems in Parkinson’s disease and the impact of aerobic exercise on disability in Parkinson’s disease.
